HISTORY
Church Farm was reputedly built in 1480 but not surprisingly no official record exists.
Latterly primarily a dairy farm it used to own a large part of Wilingham including the Threshing barn at the top of Long Lane. The 1st floor added in the 1700s when the chimney was built and the roof raised.
The oak Barn (one of three original barns) was also added in 1700s and the kitchen extension in the 1800s. Our renovations started in 2002 and finished in 2013. See the short history for more.

RENOVATION 1
We started in 2002 with the main house which needed complete renovation from the ground up. This meant putting on a new tahtch ridge, removing all the render, repairing all the rotten oak beams with new oak, completely under pinning the house, putting in new electrics, water and CAT5 cabling and putting on new laths and new lime plaster with horse hair included.

RENOVATION 2
Started in 2004 we demolished and rebuilt the kitchen extension to exactly the same design including the misshapen chimney and a huge inglenook fireplace. This allowed us to renovate the room above the kitchen and to add on a huge garden room with French doors out to the garden.
